PPEARING to have a dependable group,
the 1958 Junior Varsity Baseball Team
A promised a successful season. However, the team’s
inexperience in the held produced anything from
two to eight errors in most of the games and,
consequently, a poor showing.
The first game of the season, against River-
dale, was amazingly well-played. The skilled bat
ting and fielding was supplemented by the fine
hurling of Tom Lehmkuhl. The second game
set a pattern for those which were to follow.
