Choirs of excellence
“Ralston High’s most powerful Varsity Choir,” commented
Dwaine Price, choir director. The Varsity Choir kept busy this
year by participating in the Bellevue East Invitational, singing
at Wesleyan, the tour of Ralston Schools and singing at
commencement to name just a few.
"They have so much strength and maturity! I feel I have
the reins of a team of Clydesdale Horses in my hands as I
conduct them,” explained Price.
The choir held a number of concerts including one in the
fall in which the orchestra was combined, a winter concert in
January and a spring concert in March.
The choir received an “Excellent” rating at the District
Music Contest.
The Concert Choir sang tunes ranging from the modern “I
Won’t Hold You Back” to the classical “Hodie! Emanuel! Concert Choir Front Row: Kelley Sprlngsted, Chris Kopp, Ronna Yearsley,
