                                                                                                                                                                      On November 8th of the first semester both students and faculty



                                                                                                                                                               enjoyed a blessed time together in prayer. Classes were suspended



                                                                                                                                                               so that the entire day could be spent in prayer and fellowship.



                                                                                                                                                               Consisting of two prayer sessions concerned with personal and



                                                                                                                                                               financial needs and with missions, plus two chapel times, the day                                                                                                                                              (



                                                                                                                                                               brought everybody nearer to the Lord. Through the bearing of



                                                                                                                                                               burdens and prayer requests, the student body was united in a close



                                                                                                                                                               family bond of caring and concern. Many decisions were made, as



                                                                                                                                                               the chapel challenge delivered by Dr. Arthur Estes to surrender our                                                                                                                                            ,



                                                                                                                                                               lives to the Lord and let Him work through us caused us to re­



                                                                                                                                                               examine our lives. Only by surrendering our lives to the Lord can                                                                                                                                              j
