“Space. . . the final frontier: this is the activity of

the sophomore class . . . to boldly go where no man mm

has gone before." During first semester, the CCC

student body “went off into space" via the

sophomore-sponsored War of the Worlds. The fun-

packed day began with games such as picking up

lifesavers by the teeth in a bowl of space dust (flour)

and gravitational pull (tug-of-war), topped off with

the CCC-style obstacle course. A victors’ banquet

followed the games, complete with space mist and

inter-galactic music. Throughout the day some

K strange looking extra-terrestrials were seen

wandering around. Just where did those green faced,

blue lipped creatures and those stocking-masked

space cadets with the funny looking antennae come

from? Only the sophomore class knows for sure.
