December 15 was the date of our annual

Christmas Banquet, held this year at Admiral

Benbow Inn. The festivities included a comedy

skit by two students of Northside Christian

School, and an impromptu contest organized by

Steve Lewis among three of our students. The

musical portion of the program was the highlight

of the evening, with Christmas carols provided by

the brass ensemble, a lovely solo by Mr. Olson,

and a humorous interlude given by the Chapel

Singers. Playing “O Holy Night," Mr. Short set the

mood for the message delivered by Dr. Steele,

which brought to a close a delightful and

memorable evening.
