ome of the most valuable
parts of college life were the organizations the
students were involved in during their college
careers. Greeks, a student- led organization, per
mitted students to make friends outside of classes
and dorms and brought people with the same
interests together. Greeks generally met once
a month, typically on Fridays. During the Greek
meetings, students sang songs, heard a brief de
votional from their chaplain, participated in an
activity, and typically enjoyed refreshments.
Students through Greeks participated in intra
mural sports. "I have really enjoyed being intramu
ral director these last two years," said Bryan Curtis.
He added, "Greek sports are a great opportunity
for the students to take a break from school and
have fun in a competitive atmosphere."
Also, each Greek participated in a community
service of their choice. "I have been given the
chance to serve for my Greek, Alpha Delta Sigma.
