in various ways.

ome of the most valuable

parts of college life were the organizations the

students were involved in during their college

careers. Greeks, a student- led organization, per­

mitted students to make friends outside of classes

and dorms and brought people with the same

interests together. Greeks generally met once

a month, typically on Fridays. During the Greek

meetings, students sang songs, heard a brief de­

votional from their chaplain, participated in an

activity, and typically enjoyed refreshments.

Students through Greeks participated in intra­

mural sports. "I have really enjoyed being intramu­

ral director these last two years," said Bryan Curtis.

He added, "Greek sports are a great opportunity

for the students to take a break from school and

have fun in a competitive atmosphere."

Also, each Greek participated in a community

service of their choice. "I have been given the
