Anniversaries belong not to a particular year or class,
but to a tradition. The obligation, however, to com­
memorate the value of the past for the present rests
with the present.
Today's students, faculty, alumni, and friends — in­
deed, Saint Thomas Academy itself — wish to take the
opportunity of the fifty year anniversary of the Kaydet
to recall the favors, services, and interest that have
come to this Academy in a special dedication.
