On May 27 Chris Cox, editor-in chief of the Kaydet,
presented the yearbook dedication to a surprised
Father Thomas Kolar. The 1970 Kaydet was also a
commemoration of fifty years of publication.
Faculty House Named For Msgr. RoacFi

Father W illiam Bullock presents a plaque to Msgr. John R.
Roach noting that the faculty residence had been named in his
honor. Father Roach served the Academy for twenty-two
years, during most of which he was Director and Headmaster.
In 1968 Father Roach left Saint Thomas Academy to assume the
duties of Rector of Saint John Vianney Seminary.

Juniors gave a farewell party for Mr. Thomas Mich who left the
Academy this year to join the St. Thomas College faculty.
