Steve Doyle gets ready for action. Steve led a young pitching staff with a 3.33 ERA
and 54 strikeouts in 42 innings and was an All-Conference selection. The rest of
the assignments were filled mainly by juniors Tom Wilhelmy and Mike Kozlak
who helped to establish a very respectable 2.40 team ERA.

Tom Campion stretches for the put-out. Tom was one
of eight regular starting juniors who led the team de­
fense in allowing an average of only four runs per game
and which committed 27 errors to the oppositions' 40.
