Dan Graff beats out another hit. Danny was this year's All-Conference second
baseman and led the team with a .408 average and thirteen runs batted in. The
whole team hit generally well all year, finishing with a near .300 batting aver­
age. The leading hitters on the team also included Mike Kozlak with a .363 av­
erage, Tony Kieger and Chuck Kelly with a .300 average, and Dave Niedermaier
batting .270.

Flynn felt that the lack of experience and good weather for
practice time and the failure to score in most of the games
were the major factors for this season's performance.
