ame one word that is synonymous with
college sports — practice, practice, practice.
Yet along with this important part of any team
sport, patience needs to be exhibited.
Patience with other people is essential in
order for a team to work together. James 1:3
states, “.. .let patience have her perfect
work, that ye may be perfect and entire,
wanting nothing.”
The Lord must give each individual patience
to wait for just the right victory whether in
sports or in our spiritual lives. Each day as we
work to further the work of Christ in this
world, we must have patience just as Christ
did with us. Many times we have had to ask
for His forgiveness, but He never lacks
patience with us.
