Changes have been made, not only with the
administration, but also in the athletic pro
gram. Golf and women's soccer have been
added to the sports program. These new ad
ditions have given more students the oppor
tunity to participate in intercollegiate sports.
Although the coaches stress that win
ning is important, they instill in the players that
glorifying the Lord comes above all else. First
Corinthians 10:31 states, "Whether therefore
ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to
the glory of God." Miss Janelle Hamblen said,
" I appreciate Coach Denny's emphasis on hav
ing the right priorities. She encourages the
team to develop a relationship with Christ,
study hard, and then play to win!"
The chapel theme-IMPACT ETERNITY-
should be exemplified not only in the game but
also on the sidelines. Whether a student par
ticipates in a sport or cheers as a fan, their tes
timony should be one that would glorify God.
When the team is winning this is easy, but the
true test comes when they are losing the game.
