Changes have been made, not only with the

administration, but also in the athletic pro­

gram. Golf and women's soccer have been

added to the sports program. These new ad­

ditions have given more students the oppor­

tunity to participate in intercollegiate sports.

Although the coaches stress that win­

ning is important, they instill in the players that

glorifying the Lord comes above all else. First

Corinthians 10:31 states, "Whether therefore

ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to

the glory of God." Miss Janelle Hamblen said,

" I appreciate Coach Denny's emphasis on hav­

ing the right priorities. She encourages the

team to develop a relationship with Christ,

study hard, and then play to win!"

The chapel theme-IMPACT ETERNITY-

should be exemplified not only in the game but

also on the sidelines. Whether a student par­

ticipates in a sport or cheers as a fan, their tes­

timony should be one that would glorify God.

When the team is winning this is easy, but the

true test comes when they are losing the game.
