semester, one day is set
aside with no classes to concen
trate solely on the Lord and prayer.
Taking advantage of the solitude,
Sarah Vandernoot, Richael Rigby,
and Mary Clater spent time talking
with their Savior during the fall Day
of Prayer. This day gave students
a chance to evaluate their focus in
light of eternity.
Pouring over her homework,
Elizabeth Brown makes use of
I her time and catches up on some
*
of her reading in the Centre Court
Cafe. The cafe is a popular place
to study, allowing students to get
homework done without feeling
cramped in their rooms for hours
at a time.
While playing dominoes with
Maycee Stratton, new students
Pete St. John, David Edwards,
and Brittany Livingston enjoy an
evening at the Stratton’s house.
At the beginning of the year, Dr.
Stratton and his wife graciously
opened up their home to the new
freshmen so they could get to
t
know each other better.
