Despite the declining enroll

to offer a wide variety of programs
to its students.
The Ralston High School Band
had consistently received excel
lent ratings at marching band com
petitions. Many judges and direc
tors contended that the band con
sistently put on the field one of the
most difficult shows in Nebraska.

This year the band was re
warded for their hard work. The
band went on a trip to California
over winter break. They per
formed during the Freedom Bowl’s
halftime show in Anaheim. Part of
the trip included visits to
Disneyland and Medieval Times, (a
restaurant where they relive the
medieval time period.)
The band expanded its hori
zons as well. One new program
was winter drumline. Winter

factor in the growth of winter
