From state to state, city to
city, and throughout the Metro
area, many different clubs traveled
and participated in activities, but
not nearly as big of trips as the Ski
Club and French Club took.
The Ski Club sold Pleasure
Pacs, Christmas items and Choco
late Santas for profits that went
toward the ski trip.
The club skied at Breckenridge
Ski Resort. They skied from about
8:30a.mto4:30p.m. "Theweather
was just about perfect for skiing,"
Junior Carrie Ordway said. After
skiing all day the club members just
went and “hung out with friends in
our condos,” Ordway said.
Being involved in Ski Club
meant meeting a lot of new people
and getting to know others better.
When the club goes skiing it really
seems to bring people together.
Ordway had been a member for
three years and since then she
convinced a lot of herotherfriends
to join.
Throughout this 92-93 school
year the French Club participated
in many activities which include
the Foreign Language Fair, the
French Convention, Mr. RHS and
a trip to the French Cafe. Mem
bers of French Club earned money
until they are seniors and then
they go to France and England.
In the spring the French Club
members took a trip to the French
Cafe in the Old Market. They ate
there, and then afterwards they
were allowed to walk around the
Old Market, shop, and just enjoy
themselves. There were many
different types of French food they
could eat. “ It was chicken with
some type of weird sauce on it,”
Junior Heather Christensen said.
