         and my feet are frozen!”
         This is the common
         phrase heard all across the
          school as marching band
          members trudge back in
         from the football field.
         The long morning practic­
          es may seem like they will
          never end, but by the end
          of marching season, the
         [Latin fire will be flowing
         Ithrough their veins.
         I  This years theme is Latin
         iFire 2.0, and it’s sure
         ■to be captivating.  The
         Icatchy music is quick
         Ipaced and fun to perform,
         f i t ’s hard work getting the
         ■freshman oriented because
         Iwe move so quickly”                le band makes their way back into the stands

         lare getting the hang of it

         llearn their steps better,
         IMr. Frye brought in a pro­
         fessional for some extra
         llessons.
         I  Drum majors Matt Zuro-
         Iske and Liz Hendricks are
         Ino strangers to the hard
         Iwork either.  The extra
          hours they put into
          conducting the band is
          a senior privilege, and
         a step up from regular
         parching.
           So when they play at
         halftime, enjoy! And feel
         khe heat of Latin Fire
         break through the cold air. I
