Pine Crest’s Mathematics Depart­
ment seeks to combine the traditional
approach with the modern. This idea
forms the basis of all courses in this
department. The structure of the sys­
tem is emphasized for greater under­
standing. The primary goal of this
department is to enable a student to use
the skills he learns for efficient mathe­
matical thought.
