You and your date arrived at the dance
and walked into the cafeteria that the pep
club had decorated that morning for
“Midnight Magic.”
You were dancing under the
influence of Ninety-Proof when it was
time for the coronation. Time had gone
by so quickly.
A few more songs and the dance
was over. Now it was time to go out to
dinner.
At the restaurant you saw other
couples from the dance and you could
feel the warm atmosphere.
After dinner it was time to go on to
a previously planned party as the
house of one of your friends. The
music was loud and you and your
friends were enjoying each other’s
company when curfew rolled around.
Your date took you home, said good
night, and you went to bed reflecting
on the memories of the evening.
