Chinese New Year, also known as Lunar New Year or Spring
Festival, is the most important festival for Chinese and people

of Chinese descent. It is time for family gathering and
celebration for the beginning of Spring in China.

Normally in Thailand, Chinese New Year or Spring Festival is
only observed by Thai citizen of Chinese descent and some

private sectors, while this year, 2022, the government makes it
a special national holiday for the first time in order to
stimulate domestic tourism and economy.

On this occasion, Royal Thai Navy Language Center would
like to wish you a happy Chinese New Year. May prosperity,
longevity, and good fortune be with you.
