THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSON I KNOW

The most influential person I know and wish to be like is the world famous footballer Lionel Messi. He

is my inspiration and I dream to be like him. He is a 33 years old footballer who was born in Argentina

on June 24, 1987. I cannot keep my eyes of him when I see him playing.

Earlier I didn’t know much about football and would only play cricket but one fine day I saw Messi’s

game with Ronaldo on a sports channel. Such was his technique of playing that I got interested in the

game and started watching football matches and got so much interested that now my aim is to be a

footballer. Football has become my passion. I also want to play like Messi. I have started practising

football with my brother. He follows a healthy regime and keeps himself fit. He respects his fans

because he knows that his fans have made him famous. Lionel Messi is my soul, my heart. He is a true

sportsperson and is an inspiration for sports enthusiasts. He is indebted to his grandmother and gives her

credit whenever he scores a goal. Messi is considered the best footballer in the world and would always

continue to inspire me.
