TREATING EACH DAY AS A GIFT

Quoting the Holy Bible, “Praise the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own

understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

Every day is a gift to us by the Lord, and we should learn to appreciate it in every way

possible. We are often disappointed by the failures in our lives and start condescending our

life and luck. Even though it may be a little difficult to get some perspective at that point in

our lives, but a change of attitude towards it always helps. Start thinking about failures as
steps towards success, and start to value each day to lead a glorious life. Our time on this

planet is extremely short, and thus it would be better if we learn how to be grateful for it. The

transience of human life is an indication for us to be productive with our time, and to be

thankful for the opportunities provided to us.

Vanquishing death, and living an immortal life is beyond our limit. What we can do is

conquer the fleeting moments of our lives and make the best of them. It would be an injustice

to say that we have enough time to procrastinate things in our life. We all are living on
borrowed time, and being resolute about spending it wisely would truly be a blessing.

As a matter of fact, we don’t know what the other person is going through, so the key to

living a grateful life is showing compassion to a fellow individual. Discouraging acts of

criticism also counts as a good deed. What we give to the universe comes right back at us.

Keeping that in mind, it is futile to even think of inducing violence and uncertainty about

principles in one’s life, to get away with it unscathed. Hence, ‘Every drop makes an ocean.

Showing care and compassion would make this world a better place.’
