TREATING EACH DAY AS A GIFT

“Time and tide wait for none.”

At the beginning of each day we are given 86,400 seconds to spend. How we

spend it, depends on us. Everyone is given the same amount of time to

spend, but one becomes a billionaire and the other, a beggar. Sounds

unbelievable right? Truth is unbelievable suppose, you are given Rs. 40,000

to spend each morning. If not spent, the money will disappear. We would

think of all kinds of ways to spend the money judiciously. Then why not

time? It intrigues me that, the same man who wasted time so casually, would

jump and run to spend the money. The truth is we don’t value anything we

have or is given to us for free only when it is gone would we realize its

value. Each day has the potential to shape your destiny, your future and also,

destroy your future. Ironical, yet true. Each day is a step towards your goal,

or a lesson to be learnt. Each day is a blessing given by God. Spend it wisely

and meticulously. Each passing day has the ability to heal. “Only time can

heal the scars and bruises of a man’s life.” Remember, nothing is

         impossible!
