Taoism, Unitarian Universalism, Unity, and Wicca. Except for Unitarian Universalists — who
are agnostics — followers of the other 19 religions indicated their Reality is also:
Perfect: In the universe of imperfections, Hir is the only perfect being; and
Unique: There never was, and will never be, anyone else similar to Hir.
Introspection
So, ladies and gentlemen, if all religions perceive their respective Reality in an identical
manner, isn’t it the same Reality in all religions, though called by different names and revered
through different rituals? In monotheistic and polytheistic religions; in nature-based and
abstractions-based religions; and in religions using a specific icon to reach Him and those using
no icon? We cannot have multiple Realities having identical and unique characteristics. Thus,
our only conclusion can be that it is the same Reality in all religions, though called by different
names and worshiped through different manifestations.
Does this not open up a fantastic way to look at other religions? That all religions are on
converging paths to the same Reality? Isn’t it wonderful to realize that the person sitting next to
us, although possibly following another religion, is actually a fellow-traveler on the road to the
same Destination? What a marvelous concept! What a wonderful way to conclude our
symposium. Thank you all! Aloha!
