More about Jackie: (copied from the Kansas
website)
Jackie Engelken is a
member of Epsilon Eta in
Topeka and has nurtured
Epsilon Eta through a
decade of “life
challenges”. A multitude
of circumstances
reduced membership
from dozens down to
three. Jackie kept the group together against all odds, and never gave up on the growth she
knew would come. In addition, Jackie was a major supporter in the establishment and
maintenance of the Epsilon Eta Linda Cronin Memorial Scholarship honoring a member who
passed away. Jackie is active in all levels of ESA and has attended International Convention a
number of times. She is a wealth of information and tradition.
FOR ALL EASTERSEALS CHAIRS: Just a reminder—please get all the chapters in your
state to send in their Easterseals Report to you. You will need to compile it and send
it to me by May 15. I have attached the state forms (pages 55-56) for you to use
or you can go to the ESA website and get them. We want to have a big
total of hours and monies for Easterseals at our IC Convention in Phoenix.
I’m anxious to see how the Easterseals Challenge did in your state.
I love to hear about success stories. Please
share with me your Easterseals stories. We will
have an Easterseals workshop at IC Convention
on Saturday, July 21 from 1:30 PM – 2:15 PM.
st
The Phoenix affiliate of Easterseals will let us
know of some of the projects they are
working on in the Phoenix. You
won’t want to miss this
presentation.
Hope to see you there!
