Volunteering at the local
Meals on Wheels making
“Blizzard Bags”.

Blizzard bags are made up of
non perishable quick food
items that senior citizens can
have on hand in case
inclement weather keeps
Meals on Wheels drivers from
making hot meal deliveries.
We placed instant soup,
instant oatmeal, hot
chocolate, along with fresh
fruits and granola bars in
each bag. Since it was
Valentine’s Day each
recipient got a Valentine’s
card and chocolate candy
as well.
