Happy New Year! We have been busy here in Colorado. Northern Colorado
chapters Gamma Chi and Sigma Rho raised $162,180 for St. Jude at their
Radiothon! Congratulations to all! Colorado has Dream Homes in Denver
and Colorado Springs and they were both successful. Denver Dream Home sold all 13,500 tickets
and the Colorado Springs Dream Home sold all 8,500 tickets.
Other chapters in the state are busy with their
philanthropic projects that range from “Bags for
Bucks” with Northeastern Colorado Council, “Sip
and Paint” with Sigma Rho, Bunco Parties, Auctions
and one chapter held a “Vintage Holiday Tea” that
served 105 attendees.
Gamma Chi Chapter in Loveland will be
celebrating their 50 Anniversary on April 8 . Phyllis

Minch is our Hope for Heroes Chairman and a
member of Gamma Chi. This chapter does so much for our veterans in Northern Colorado. There
is a breakfast every Saturday morning at the Golden Corral where over 100 veterans meet and
share memories. They also work for the Honor Flight each year acting as escorts and greeters at
the airport. We congratulate them and acknowledge all the work they do in the name of ESA.
Our Spring Leadership will be in Ft. Morgan and will have fun and games and some educationals
to enrich our knowledge. Our State Convention will be at the Lodge at Vail in May where we
continue to “Embrace the Journey”. We are anticipating a wonderful
time at IC Convention this year as we honor our own Sandy Alexander
as IC President. We are excited to have the IC Workshop Director Robin
Bussey as our IC Representative at our convention. We are looking
forward to a lot of fun!
As we “Embrace the Journey” this year we are working on new ways
to share the wonder and fulfillment of belonging to ESA. The memories
we create, and the fun we have doing it as well as the relationships
we form for life.
Wishing you a Happy Spring!
