G’Day, everyone!

I am truly excited to be a part of the International Council and appreciate Sandy
for taking this chance on me to be the 2017-18 News Bulletin Editor. I know I will be inspired by your reports
and promise to pay it forward ensuing inspiration continues to be an everyday result within our lives.

Who may contribute to the News Bulletin?

Everyone! To continue to make the Inspiration Train moving forward, let’s hear from every state and
region. I welcome any member, at any level, to write an article for the newsletter. Since a picture is
worth a thousand words, send those as well. Here are just a few ideas to share but keep in mind, the sky
is the limit.
 Fundraising ideas
 Introducing a new or current member
 Announce a new chapter
 Appreciation of a contributor (if it’s a business with a website, we can link it as well)
 Information about your state and it’s chapters

What’s new?

Rockstar of the Month
Tracy Swanson, Membership Director at Headquarters will be writing this column. She will introduce and
feature a member or chapter that achieved exceptional accomplishments. Use this information as a tool
and learn how you, too can be a Rockstar.

Who Inspires Me
Guest writers throughout ESA International will introduce some one or group that has inspired them. This
column is encouraged for everyone who would like to share their personal inspirations.

Chapter Anniversaries
Beginning October, we will celebrate Chapter anniversaries. Please send in your individual chapter’s
anniversary with the following information:
 Name, number, and city of chapter
 Date it was established
 Current and original Presidents
 Fun facts about the chapter
 Photos from the early years would be very welcome

The deadline is on the 15 of every month. I will send a reminder 1 week prior. The members that I send
th
the reminders to are: Executive Officers, Appointed Chairman, State Presidents and State Newsletter
Editors. If you are not on this list and want to be included in the email chain, please contact me.
