Congratulations To Mohan Singh Sekhon

On 14 Feb 2021, Mr. Mohan Singh Sekhon attempted to
create a Guinness World Record for chopping the most
onions in one hour.
Mr. Sekhon is known for his speed while chopping onions,
and can be seen helping out with Langar Sewa, especially
with onion chopping, at the Parklea Sikh Temple most
weekends. The night before he attempted the world
record, Mr. Sekhon was told he would have to peel and
finely chop as many onions as he could within one hour.
The onions would then be carefully checked. The total
weight of onions 'Peeled & Chopped' was 47.155 Kg in the
one hour period. This is phenomenal speed and accuracy,
and we congratulate Mr. Mohan Singh Sekhon for this great
achievement!
