                                     5. Open the Temp PO Table. In the Datasheet View, we will enter a value in the
                               Number of field that is one (1) less than the starting value we want for the AutoNumber
                               field. In other words, since we want the Purchase Order Form to begin at 1000, we will
                               enter 999 in this field.

                                     6. Close the table.
                                     7. Click on the Queries object and double-click on Create query in Design view.

                                     8. Scroll down in the Show Table window and double-click Temp PO Table. Close
                               the Show Table window.

                                     9. Click on the Query Type ~ icon. (Note: If this icon is not in the menu, click
                               on View> Toolbars > Query Design to pull it up.) Click on the Append Query
                               An Append Query adds a group of records from one or more tables to the end of one or
                               more tables. We want Access to add the PONumber automatically each time a new
                               Purchase Order is created. In the Table Narne field, select the Purchase Order Table.
                               Click OK.
