I woke up and asked the driver where we were and he said
that we were at Bishkek-Soviet. I was very excited, because I had
never come this far. I saw mountain ranges along my path.
I supposed that this must be a path way, not a stopping off point.
But then I was hungry, so I ordered them to hurry up and get to the
town.
There were a lot of churches there, so I assumed the main
religion must be Christianity. I got down from the caravan and
walked to a restaurant nearby. The seller spoke with slavic accent
in Mandarin trying to communicate with me, but I interrupted him
and talked to him in Slavic “Могу ли я обменять его с этим Джейд
(Mogu li ya obmenyat’ yego s etim Dzheyd)” means that “Can I
trade this with this Jade?” He said yes. So I traded a Beshbarmak
dish with jade that I had brought from Shang’an. Beshbarkmak was
a traditional dish with meat and noodles. It was really good,
because I loved noodles and the taste was unique. I also drank
