tasted quite sour. Next, I travelled to
Smarkand, this was where I planned to sell
my goods. I passed the grassy plains on
my way to the town. Everyone was dressed
in cotton dresses with patterns, the sleeves
were quite long. I noticed that they spoke
Sogdian, which I wasn’t comfortable with.
I wandered around and saw a silk shop,
it was very expensive 4 times more
expensive than mine. So, I walked to a
table and showed the silk cloth and
shouted, “silk from china exchange point”.
This was how it worked, I trade silk c with
other things that were valuable. At the end of the day, I had traded
2 red silks, 1 yellow silk and 3 white silks. In return I got about 12
bags of spices and 6 cotton dresses. It had been a good trading,
I had made a ot of money.
After that I travelled to Dushanbe which was my pathway to
Persia. In Dushanbe, I passed the snowy Pamir mountains and the
Vazob river. Then I noticed something on the floor, it said that to go
through the walls of water and you will find what you desire. I was
very curious, I thought it was a waterfall or something, but what was
the name. There was a scrambled word “a s h a n”. So, I continued
traveling. I didn’t notice that there was something following me...
There were buddhist temples around and I went to a big restaurant
in the square of the town. It seemed that the meals started with
sweet dishes first like halwa, it had sesame flavor. It was a bit
