FUSE/HARNESS ASSEMBLY
VERADO BATTERY REQUIREMENTS

Engines must use a marine starting battery with 1000 MCA or 800 CCA.
Do NOT use deep cycle batteries. When connecting engine battery, hex
nuts must be used to secure the battery leads to battery posts. Torque
nuts to 120 lb. in. (13.5 Nm). Hex nuts listed below are furnished with
each engine. Metric nuts are not provided. Battery cables are supplied
with Long models only. XL and XXL models do not have cables
packaged with the outboard.
