SYSTEMS

Both the Basic and the Heavy Duty Hydraulic Systems in this section
will use the hoses listed. (8M0053474 to 8M0053492) Note that the
Basic is for single engines only ‑ 150 HP and below. The Heavy Duty
systems are for single engines above 150 HP as well as multiple
engines. Fittings are listed in this section that can be installed to the
compression style connections.

Heavy duty auxiliary steering kit connects an auxiliary trolling motor to your main
motor. It is 1/2 inch thick. Ideal for large Walleye/ Great Lakes boats with rough
water running conditions

as our heavy duty cylinder. It is qualified to the same 300,000 cycle as our other

seal cartridges for enhanced duribilty and longevity high quality fittings using
swaged compression style hose connections.

175HP+ KICKER ELECTRICAL KIT
This Basic hydraulic cylinder has the same robust performance design requirement
as our heavy duty cylinder. It is qualified to the same 300,000 cycle as our other
steering systems, has high strength fasteners, stainless steel arm, with a special
bend for clearance, heavy duty triple seal cartridges for enhanced duribilty and
longevity. High quality fittings using swaged compression style hose connections.

This system allows you to run your kicker engine and use the power steering HYDRAULIC HELM - BASIC SYSTEM
system without your primary engine running. This system allows you to connect to
a deep cell battery (not your starter battery) and the system will provide normal
power steering from the wheel. The system will alert you when your auxiliary
battery is below 9.5 volts. This signal means that you must start your primary
engine to change the battery system. This kit will save the starting battery for
primary starting use only. Must select the appropriate isolator to be paired with this
system, dependent on engine configuration.
175hp+ power steering systems with a kicker engine. 200‑350 Verado 2015 (Gen
5) and newer and all 175‑300hp 3.4L and 4.6L engines.

This hydraulic helm is a std 20 CC / 1.2 Cu Inch helm with compression style
fittings. It is used with the 8M0054993 Basic cylinder. The shaft is anodized steel
with a composite tank. The pressure relief is 1000 PSI for high torque
applicactions for improved performance. (5.2 Lock to lock wheel turns).
