Glycosylase For PCR Diagnosis
Elimination of Carry-Over Contamination
BioFACT™ Uracil-DNA Glycosylase is useful to reduce the carry-over contamination in PCR based diagnostics. In UDG system, PCR
is performed using dUTP through substitution of dTTP and post-PCR is performed after UDG treatment. If there is contamination
of PCR product in the previous step, by the UDG system, contaminated DNA is eliminated through hydrolysis of N-glycosylic bond
between Uracil and template in PCR product. It can't be used for PCR enzymes which have proofreading activity such as BioFACT™
Pfu DNA Polymerase and BioFACT™ Lamp Taq DNA Polymerase.
