Determine the lowest common multiple (LCM) of each of the following.

Contoh 1. 5, 7

6, 9 Gandaan 5 / Multiples of 5 :
5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40,...
Gandaan 6 / Multiples of 6 : Pilih gandaan sepunya
6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, ... pertama (terkecil). Gandaan 7 / Multiples of 7 :
Choose the first common 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, ...
Gandaan 9 / Multiples of 9 : multiple (smallest).
GSTK bagi 5 dan 7 ialah 35.
9, 18, 27, 36, ...
LCM of 5 and 7 is 35.

GSTK bagi 6 dan 9 ialah 18.
LCM of 6 and 9 is 18.

20 = 2 × 2 × 5
10 = 2 × 5 Susun mengikut faktor perdana ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓
15 = 3 × 5 sepunya jika ada. 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 5
↓ ↓ ↓ Align the common prime factors
2 × 3 × 5 whenever possible.
GSTK / LCM = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 5
GSTK / LCM = 2 × 3 × 5 = 80
= 30
