             1.  Teacher gets pupils to listen to the words read giving pupils time to write the answers in the space provided.
             2.  Play A Word Game – Tell pupils that they will be given 5 minutes to remember the spelling of the words in Exercise A.
             3.  The teacher begins by throwing a ball or a piece of crushed paper at any student and reads out a word. The pupil spells the word and throw
                the ball at another pupil calling out another word. The game goes on until all words are called out.
             4.  Pupils complete Exercises B & C in pairs. Cross-check the answers.
             5.  Teacher reinforces how to read and jot down dates.

             1.  Teacher gets pupils to work in pairs.
             2.  Teacher uses the Pairs Compare cooperative learning strategy.
             3.  Pupils choose an event they have witnessed and brainstorm based on the cues given.
             4.  Pupils write out the mail.
             5.  The pair of pupils turn to another pair of pupils and exchange their email.
             6.  The pair of pupils improve their email based on the feedback given.
