In general, survey meter gives data on the dose
rate and its required to convert into the dose equva-
lent (H) per neutron fluence (i.e., rem per neutron). It
is varies with the neutron energy because both the ab-
sorbed dose (D) and the quality factor (Q,Wx) vary with
the neutron energy. Therefore, the dose equivalent (H)
or the effective dose can be calculated using Equation
6.4.Where, the value of Q and Wx is given in Table 6.1.
