JOB DESCRIPTION

Your job description will have been issued to you together with your job
start forms. To reflect the changing needs of the business there may be
adjustments made from time to time to your job description. You will be
fully consulted over such changes. Amendments may be made to your
job description from time to time in relation to our changing needs and
                  your own ability.

                  JOB FLEXIBILITY

It is a vital condition of your employment that you are prepared to accept a flexible
approach to your work pattern and, if it is deemed necessary, carry out alternative duties
in line with your agreed availability. We are dependent on this flexibility not only to
allow us to adapt to the changing nature and volume of work, but to protect the future
of the business and its employees. During holiday periods, etc. it may be necessary for
you to take over some duties normally performed by colleagues. This flexibility is
essential for operational efficiency as the type and volume of work is always subject to
change. As part of your role you will be asked pre-employment to confirm an availability
schedule – changes to this are a request; and any approved changes to this subsequent
to employment being offered may mean that we are unable to provide you with the
same amount of work as previously.

                  MOBILITY

You are not employed to work with one particular Customer, or group of Customer, and
it is a condition of your employment that you are prepared to work with any of our
                  Customers.
We do recognise that many of our support and care workers like to keep to the same
customers and that they become accustomed to their particular needs. However, from
time to time, we have to change your rotas and your customers in order to run our
                  service efficiently.

                  INDUCTION TRAINING

You will be required to undertake the The Care Company induction training programme
and demonstrate that you are able to carry tasks out within the standards laid down in
the Care Act 2014. This process will begin on your first day when you will be given more
details. We understand that in some cases you may have previous experience but
would respectfully confirm that we need to ensure training meets our own standards.
A comprehensive Induction Policy and Procedure is available from The office.
