TRAINING
You will be required to undertake additional training as deemed necessary by
the company for you to carry out your duties effectively and to ensure that you
comply with our various rules and regulations. Where the company has funded
specific training for you to attend, you will normally be asked to sign a Training
Agreement to enable the company to seek reimbursement of the costs in the
event of the termination of your employment, for whatever reason.
Health and Safety should be adhered to at all times during training, which
includes any accidents, incidents or near misses that occur during the session
being reported to the trainer and documented in the company's accident book.
Please note, some training may consist of online training and as a provider we do
make use of e-learning as a supporting tool to our workforce.
Failure to complete required training or make yourself available for mandatory
training /and or mandatory refresher training may result in disciplinary action;
where online training is agreed it must be completed within a set timescale this
applies also to making yourself available to meet with assessors in relation to
funded qualifications.
PROBATIONARY PERIOD
You join us on an initial probationary period of 3 months. During this period your
work performance and general suitability will be assessed and, if it is
satisfactory, your employment will continue. However, if your work performance
is not up to the required standard, or you are considered to be generally
unsuitable, we may either take remedial action (which may include the
extension of your probationary period) or the right to terminate your
employment at any time.
We reserve the right not to apply our full contractual capability
and disciplinary procedures during your probationary period.
PERSONAL INFORMATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Our decision to offer you employment took into account the personal information you
provided to us on the basis that it was correct and complete. In the event of such
information proving to be untrue or misleading, we reserve the right to terminate
your employment.
PERFORMANCE REVIEW
Our policy is to monitor your work performance on a continuous basis so that we can
maximise your strengths, resolve any issues and help you overcome any possible
weaknesses that may identified.
