TOWN PLANNER
Role
➢ You will be in charge of overseeing the development of
new areas in cities, towns, and the countryside as a town
planner. You'll analyze existing locations, aid in obtaining
planning approval for projects, and ensure that
environmental and economic implications are considered
Responsibilities
➢ Handle a wide range of tasks while employing a variety of talents
➢ Choose whether to specialize in a certain subject, such as historic preservation or urban design,
or to work in a range of fields.
➢ Produce innovative and creative planning solutions to meet the needs of all parties
➢ Stakeholders and other interested parties should be consulted.
➢ Developers and other experts, such as surveyors and architects, should be negotiated with.
➢ Research and establish planning policies to steer development by evaluating planning
applications and monitoring outcomes as needed.
CLERK of WORK (C.OW)
Role
➢ On construction sites, a clerk of works inspects the craftsmanship, quality, and safety of the
job and reports back to top management and clients.
➢ Inspections of the construction site on a frequent basis to ensure that the building plans are
being followed appropriately.
➢ To support everyday business operations, you'll be in charge of administrative duties.
Responsibilities
➢ Keeping track of and preserving corporate files to ensure that they are correct and available to
other personnel.
➢ Reports, letters, and other business papers are typed.
➢ Sorting and replying to incoming mail, as well as distributing it to the proper staff
➢ Answering phone calls and emails and, when necessary, transferring them to other workers ➢
Invoices are sent out, and payments are tracked.
➢ During meetings, taking dictations and minutes
➢ Organizing travel for other company workers on business trips
➢ Monitoring office supplies and informing the office manager when stock levels are low
