KNX TUTOR SEMINAR

In 2003 the national committees of CENELEC Technical Committee TC205 (“Home and
Building Electronic Systems”) voted positively on a subset of the KNX Specifications,
consisting of the KNX media and the KNX stack. This implies that this subset has become
a European Standard (as part of the EN 50090 bus family standard).
In 2006, the same set of documents was again approved on European level, now by CEN
and for application in Building Automation Control Systems: this standard as a simple
reference to the EN 50090 series has the following standard number: EN 13321-1.
The KNX concept to tunnel and route KNX telegrams across IP networks, i.e. the
KNXnet/IP protocol, was also approved in the course of 2006 by CEN as EN 13321-2.
Last but not least in the same year, the EN 50090 series achieved international
                  recognition as ISO/IEC 14543-3.
In the middle of 2007, the Chinese translation of the international standard achieved GB/Z
                  status as GB/Z 20965.
