As an example, Aishah Ghani and Khadijah Sidek,
some of the leader of Syarikat Bekerjasama Am
Saiburi(SABERKAS) that are Senu Abdul Rahman
and Mohd Khir Johari, Parti Kebangsaan Melayu
Malaya (PKMM), Angkatan Pemuda Insaf (API), and
Angkatan Wanita Sedar (AWAS). They had been
called as transient left.
Parti Kebangsaan Melayu Malaya (PKMM)
One of the goals of SABERKAS is to fight for the protection of freedom of the press,
expression, thought, and assembly. As a result of the anti-colonial war, few of the group
became staunchly nationalist. They have been fighting to gain independence. Besides,
Angkatan Pemuda Insaf (API) wanted to gain democracy, create a planned economy for the
good of the masses, and work for social justice. Ishak Haji Muhammad, a founder of the
PKMM, expressing his political ideas in an article entitled Ke Mana Tujuan Kita (Whither Our
Objectives). The ideas in this essay specifically
demonstrate his desire to seek freedom.
