3019.2 – “No Worries” Wellness Plans + Trupanion
Results Statement: To quickly offer our clients a solution to avoid all financial worries with their
pets’ healthcare.
Primary Responsible Position: Client Coordinator
Participating Positions: Director of Public Contact, Financial Coordinator, Technicians
IMPORTANT: Present using ONLY this script, in this specific order, with the specific listed
demo pieces. If done this way it will help clients that are truly helped by these
services. It will avoid wasting your time and our client’s time.
Script: Smile: “Hi. My name is (name). I am the (your position) here. How are you? If
you have two minutes, I would like to show a way to save some money”
FEEL: “We believe everyone deserves unconditional love and joy in their lives. We
believe pets provide this. Our job is to help keep your pets happy safe and
comfortable. We do this by providing the highest quality veterinary care,
grooming, and boarding.”
FELT & FOUND: “We have found that when people come to the vet, whether their pets are sick or
healthy, they are often surprised what their pet needs and the costs. We have
found a solution to avoid ALL those financial worries for virtually all vet visits,
sick or healthy for as little as $95/month. We call it our “No Worries”
Difference”
EDUCATION: “In addition, you will receive additional FREE services and routine discounts. I
can show you the details in about 5 minutes. It will likely save you money on
today’s visit. Would you like to hear about it?”
DEMO and FINANCE: If they say yes, first show the client the laminated sheet showing the pet in the
middle with:
1. Left side: Sick/injured Visits (Trupanion) with the average cost.
2. Right Side: Healthy Visits (Wellness Plans) with the starting cost.
Next show Trupanion 30-day Trial Certificate on the left side of the sheet
above. (See “Insurance for Pets” procedure for steps to set the client up)
Finally show the appropriate Wellness Plan Laminated Sheet on the right side
of the sheet above. Explain the various options that include dental, heartworm
meds, etc. (See “Wellness Plans” procedure for the steps to set the client up)
