1. Why do we have the procedure? What is typically happening without it? For the client? For the staff?
2. How does this procedure help the clients, even the ones not interested?
3. For the clients that sign up, how does it help them? How does it help their pet?
4. For the clients that sign up, how does it help us? How does it help YOU?
5. WHEN do you present this to clients in the appointment process?
a. Hint: See the “Appointment Flow Chart”.
6. Memorize the script with FEELFELTFOUNDEDUCATION sections. With your trainer acting as the
client present this in less than two minutes.
a. Get a pass and move onto the next step ONLY when it sounds natural, comfortable, helpful and
sincere…and in less than two minutes.
7. Get the three demo sheets. With your trainer acting as the client pretend the client says they want to
hear the details. Pretend the client has a healthy 3-year old dog with a dental grade 2. Show the three
demo sheets explaining each in less than five minutes (longer if the client is asking lengthy questions).
a. Get a pass only when it sounds helpful and unpressured.
8. Move onto training on both procedures “Wellness Plans” and “Insurance for Pets” to set up both. Make
sure you are comfortable changing today’s charges as necessary for those wellness services today.
