8009.1 – Key Strategic Indicators Report
Result Statement: To report key strategic indicators, both tangible and intangible of our vision
statement on a quarterly basis. As a result of the measurements written steps are taken to
keep all indicators at or above the current levels. We also focus on at least ONE indicator to
improve over the next quarter with written actionable steps that are completed.

Steps: Every Quarter all of the below is completed PRIOR to Jan 2, April 2, July 5 , October 2
1. Print the “Key Indicators Staff Survey” under “Forms-Misc” Print enough copies for all
staff to have one.
2. Have the staff fill out the surveys at a staff meeting together at least one week prior to
the due dates above.
3. Tabulate the results on the form in the next step.
4. Fill out the form labeled “Key Strategic Indicators – Quarterly” is opened in the
procedures manual under “Executive Director” or under “Forms – Misc”
5. CURRENT period date is entered at the top of the page.
6. PREVIOUS period date is entered at the top of the page.
7. PREVOUS results (from last quarter) are entered under the column labeled “Previous
Period”
8. CURRENT Tangible numbers are entered under the column labeled “Current Period”
a. These numbers can be found under the stat log and CPA reports
b. % Owner Independence can be found by determine exact responsibility owner is
completing. Then determine % of operations or administration this is. Average
the two numbers
c. % Systematized can be found by determining the number of operations or
administration that is NOT in a written system. The number to enter is 100
minus this number.
9. CURRENT Intangible numbers are entered under the column labeled “Current Period”
a. These numbers are entered as an average of two things:
i. Staff surveys average results completed DURING staff meeting each
quarter
ii. Client surveys or average of our internet review scores over that last
quarter as done at random or planned prior to completing the report.
The internet review scores correlate to a number (-10 to +10) on the
report.
b. Competent Staff numbers are found by % of on-the-floor staff with various of
training certificates. See weekly stat log and “Key Strat Indicators” report under
comment on this report. (Goal Level 3 – 50%, Level 2 – 75%, Level 1 – 100%)
10. DIFFERENCE between #4 and #’s 5 or 6 above are entered under the column labeled
“Progress”. This number is entered as a positive or negative number. The numbers
here should ideally never be negative.
