8009.2 – Pet Health Partnership Setup

Result statement: To set up AVImark for appropriate discounting on certain groups or organizations we
have partnered with.

Steps:

Go to work with > System tables > Client Discount classes
Go to right side window. Right click > new
Code: Enter the two digit next highest code number available from the other groups
Discount Class: Enter the NAME of the group. This is the name the receptionists will see when putting
them in this class.
Click Done:

Go to Work With > Hospital Setup > Click Okay > Invoicing
Click the discounting tab towards the bottom of this window.
In the bottom white spaces where you see the groups right click > new
Client Class: Pick the group
Discount Class: Pick 01 (this is the treatment class that is discounted)
Rate: Enter the number for the percent off the group gets. For example Grace Outreach Center gets a
10% discount so we would enter 10.
Click Okay

AGAIN ONE MORE TIME: In the bottom white spaces where you see the groups right click > new
Client Class: Pick the group
Discount Class: Pick 02 (this is the treatment class that is discounted)
Rate: Enter the number for the percent off the group gets. For example Grace Outreach Center gets a
10% discount so we would enter 10.
Click Okay

That’s it. It should take 5 minutes or less!

Drill:

Enter a new discount class for “Practice PHP” for a discount on vet services of 5%. Demonstrate this for
your trainer.
Remove it when done.
