DMX control is mainly used in theatres, event locations, bars and clubs, but it also offers advantages in other areas of
application. Control is via a DMX signal supplied by a corresponding DMX controller. Various types of the latter exist, from
a simple wall controller for 1-4 zones to a software solution in combination with a PC interface, allowing even the most
complex control setups.

Power supplies with integrated PWM dimmers simplify installation as only one component needs to be fitted and wired.
The usual control signals from the building installation and automation can be used. For reasons of compatibility and comfort,
I recommend gearing the selection to the building’s existing control system as the mains units barely differ visually and in
their design. Please note that the different control signals are generally NOT compatible with each other and the correspon-
ding power supply type must be used in each case.
