Michael: No, everyone is so kind, and I have a pet, too, so…
Ie, minasan shinsetsu da shi, petto mo iru shi.
いえ、みなさん親切だし、ペットもいるし。

Sato: What? Did you say a pet?

E? Petto tte?
え？ペットって。

Michael shows a picture of his pet to Ms. Sato.

Michael: I have a cat. Here. So therapeutic (to have it)!
E’e, neko o katte iru n desu. Hora! Sugoku iyasaremasu yo.

ええ、猫を飼っているんです。ほら。すごく癒されますよ。
Sato: So cute! What is its name?

Kawai’i! Namae wa nan te iu n desu ka.
かわいい！名前は何て言うんですか。

Michael: I’m a bit embarrassed, but it’s called Tiger.
Chotto hazukashi’i n desu kedo ne, “Taigā” tte iu n desu.

ちょっと恥ずかしいんですけどね、「タイガー」っていうんで
す。

Sato: Wow!
