The Zuiderzeemuseum in Enkhuizen (see pp180–81)
Hoorn is dedicated to the history of the fishing ports of
Alkmaar the Zuiderzee. Access to the North Sea was closed
NORTH off in 1932 by the Afsluitdijk (barrier dam). Enkhuizen
