Professor Broadbridge is an associate professor of history
at University of Massachusetts Amherst, and an expert in
the Mamluk Sultanate, Mongol Empire, Ottoman Empire
and Temür, as well as ideology, legitimacy, diplomacy and
women in history. She has been nominated three times for
the Distinguished Teaching Award, and in 2004 received an
Outstanding Teacher Award.
